Salon
Entering the yacht through the cockpit door to the salon, you will find large opening windows all around bringing in lots of natural light and offering outstanding vistas. The salon settee is to starboard and converts into additional sleeping accommodations when needed. Sound dampening headliner panels and reading lamps give that at home feeling.
Galley
The U-shaped galley of the 40 is well equipped for couple's cruising or daytime entertaining. The center of the galley boasts a Dickerson propane stove and oven, and a microwave to meet all your culinary needs. You’ll find plenty of drawers and cabinets along with a large storage area we call the Costco room. The double stainless sinks and Corian counter tops makes for easy living.
Accommodations
The forward master stateroom is complete with an island pedestal bed, rather than the standard V-berth, offering spacious and comfortable sleeping accommodations. There is a 3" memory foam mattress in lieu of standard. Two reading lamps, plus lots of overhead lighting, and an overhead opening hatch, with screens. There are storage lockers outboard of the berth, and two tall, cedar lined hanging lockers. The berth itself also houses a set of lockers, with easy access to additional storage underneath. It even has a hamper and wet boot storage locker.
Head
The head is molded in white durable ceramic for easy cleaning and a modern contemporary feel. The electric fresh water flush keeps everything tidy and order free. There is a vanity with Corian countertop, storage in lockers above and below, and a separate stall shower.
Helm
The helm is the heart of vessel operations. Sporting two Simrad MFD screens, two Simrad multi-data instrument panels, CommNav autopilot, ICOM radio, Simrad radar, AIS, thruster controls, and a separate and completely isolated navigation computer and GPS for redundancy all make for smooth passages. The two 2-way red/white night lights over the helm make for safe and proper evening operation.
